Drill rapper Digga D given court date following Instagram Live arrest

A leading rapper is to appear in court on drugs charges following a police raid during an online performance.
Drill artist Digga D - real name Rhys Herbert - was arrested near Lincoln early on 21 February.
Lincoln Crown Court heard the West London rapper, 23, of Lonsdale Road, Notting Hill, was broadcasting on Instagram Live when he was arrested.
He has been charged in connection with the supply and importation of cannabis.
The rapper, currently on remand at Wormwood Scrubs prison, was excused from attending a pre-trial crown court hearing on Wednesday.
Judge Simon Hirst adjourned the case for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 3 May.
The police raid happened in Bracebridge Heath, near Lincoln, the court heard.
Digga D is one of UK drill's leading artists, with his tracks getting millions of views online.
Drill started in Chicago in the early 2010s but in recent years UK artists have adopted the genre.
